The Spectrum Detective is able to simultaneously display UV, Visible and Infrared transmission values.  There are no additional light sources or power cords necessary, and no adjustments to make with this self contained unit. Just slide the glass sample into the opening and watch as the results appear on the display.  The Spectrum Detective runs on a 9-volt battery.
